Fix Streaming Audio Issues
No sound at all
Check device volume and mute. Try a different channel — some channels may not have audio. Check audio output settings on your device. Switch from Dolby Digital to PCM if audio is missing.
Audio out of sync with video
This is a common issue. Check for a lip-sync or audio delay setting in your app or TV. Some apps have their own audio sync adjustment. Restart the app if desync appeared suddenly.
Low volume
Some streams have low audio levels. Increase device volume to max. If using a TV, check TV audio settings — some TVs have a 'volume leveling' feature that can help.
Poor audio quality
Streaming audio is usually stereo or Dolby Digital. If quality is poor, check your audio output settings. Switching from auto to PCM can sometimes improve clarity.
Audio works on some channels but not others
This is usually a stream-side issue, not your device. Some channels may have different audio formats. Try other channels — if most have audio, the issue is with that specific channel.
Soundbar or receiver issues
If using a soundbar or AV receiver, check the audio format it supports. Some soundbars do not support Dolby Digital Plus — switch to PCM on your device.
