Fix Streaming Video Issues

Video problems are common. Here is how to fix black screen, freezing, pixelation, and quality issues.

Fix Streaming Video Issues

Black screen with audio

This usually means the video codec is not supported by your device or app. Try a different player app. Update your app. Try a different channel — some use different codecs.

Black screen with no audio

Check HDMI connection. Try a different HDMI port. Restart your device. If using a VPN, try disconnecting it. Some channels may be temporarily down.

Video freezing or stuttering

Freezing is usually caused by insufficient internet speed or device performance. Lower streaming quality. Close background apps. Check internet speed. Try a wired connection.

Pixelation or blocky video

Pixelation means the video stream is corrupted or your internet speed is fluctuating. Check for WiFi interference. Try Ethernet. Contact support if the issue persists on all channels.

Poor video quality (low resolution)

Your internet speed may be too low for HD. Check speed (10+ Mbps for HD). Lower quality in app settings. Some content may only be available in SD — not all channels broadcast in HD.

Video works on some channels but not others

Different channels use different servers and codecs. If most channels work, the issue is with specific channels. Contact support about those specific channels.
