Firestick Streaming Fixes

Clear app cache: Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > [app] > Clear Cache. Use Ethernet adapter. Close background apps by holding Home button. Restart Firestick: Settings > My Fire TV > Restart.

Firestick app crashing

Force stop: Settings > Applications > [app] > Force Stop. Clear cache. Update app. Free up storage. Reinstall if needed. Try a different player app.

Firestick login issues

Use Downloader to reinstall the app if login screen is broken. Copy and paste credentials. Make sure you chose Xtream Codes login. Try the web player via Silk Browser as a fallback.

Firestick overheating

Some Firesticks run hot during long streaming sessions. This can cause buffering and crashes. Use the HDMI extender included with your Firestick to move it away from the TV body.

Clear cache on all apps. Uninstall unused apps. Turn off background data collection: Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings. Use a wired connection instead of WiFi.
